When Dewey cannot think clearly about his own Alaska problem, Clara turns the boss into the client and makes him complete his own intake form.

Clara joins field surveillance in a Buick station wagon, sitting on four pillows to reach the wheel while toy frogs cover the dashboard.
FILE 03
The experimental bakery never closes.
Cookie cereal, crunchy cookie-dough cookies, chewy cookie-dough cookies, brownies, and lemon basil cookies all pass through the office while cases are being solved.

Some cases require an adult.
Clara tells Dewey that children are not meant to parent their parents, orders him away from problem solving for a week, packs lemon basil cookies, and takes over the final stage with Wolfie.

The assistant has an assistant.
Wolfie can carry a recorder during field operations and later accompanies Clara when she handles the part of Dewey's family case that Dewey should not handle himself.

The treatment adds family history.
The television-development material says Clara once babysat Dewey's father and later Dewey and his siblings, and that she calls Dewey “Sir” and “Boss.” Those details remain labeled as development notes.
